Custom payment service field

+1 on this one.
In Poland, we often use Revolut or Blik (PL-only) for simple one-off transfers between friends. Both are based on phone number in the format: XXX-XXX-XXX.
For example, when settling up with someone, I might say: "Send me on Revolut/Blik at 602-940-203".
We also use regular bank transfers, but that is usually less convenient (but if you don't want to share your phone number with someone, that is the way to go).
Thus, I would add one more thing to consider here. My preferences for settling up might differ depending on the group. I might default to my bank account number, but for some groups, use Blik (via phone number), or Revolut (phone number).
So a good way to approach this could be:
- Add a custom "preferred" payment solution on the account/profile level
- (Later) Add per-group override preferences
Anyway, do what you will with it Bradley Bernard. As a fellow developer, I could not help but to propose a solution 😅. Take care! ✌

In Europe I pay everyone via Bank Transfers. We just need a spot to put our IBAN number. Please add this Bradley Bernard🙏

Willem Van der Elst: Got it got it, just want to make sure I understand correctly: is that IBAN number sensitive information? The payment services info is public for all friends to see.
I'd include a warning in the UI about this :)
Willem Van der Elst
Bradley Bernard: Hey Bradley, it's not that sensitive. If only your friends or people from your groups can see it, it's definitely okay. No warning needed then imo

Context: Each country has its own standards and regulations for transfering and holding funds. Canada, for instances, doesn't allow unregulated applications like Venmo and CashApp. As a result, regulated and protected transfer methods, such as e-transfer, is the most commonly used transfer method amongst Canadians. Each country will have its own version of this based on their unique laws and regulations.
In it's current state, non-US users are unable to use this feature and will need to seek alternative methods to indicate their payment service of choice.

I think this would be great to add, but a bit more of a power user feature. Will keep open!

Hey Jonathan, thanks for submitting! I've considered this as well, curious what you would put in here for your custom use. (Don't need username specifics but what service/bank/API/app that you'd want to have as "title" in reference screenshot)
