The pre-provided categories are good but individuals may want to track their own custom categories, maybe shared within a group.

Adding a memo field to the Settle Up section would make partial payments more clear.

I noticed that I was missing a hydro payment from my spreadsheet and I attempted to search (my fiance pays for it and records it in the app) but it was only for "a friend or group". Later today I needed to check if I paid a wedding vendor and it would have been nice to search.

allow adding images or files to expense entries after they are made, this will help be able to consolidate information after an expense was already added. Some online receipts are a bit harder to parse through, especially if its in a different currency that your bank has paid. Great way to include notes and other important files with specific entries

By connecting an account via MCP to eg: Claude or Poke, I could simply ask "enter a bill for X and split by Y to people A, B, and C" or "record a payment from X they made via cash" or whatever. Plus it would allow context such as "who in my family hasn't paid me last month's phone bill."

Hi there, I’m not sure if this is possible since it is through a website but I have added the site to my home screen on my iPhone so it appears like an app. The only thing I would love is to be notified when new expenses are added by others. Even if this is in the form of an email (if push notifications is not yet an option).. although I can see that getting annoying and spammy. I would definitely love some sort of maybe monthly roundup email of what I owe/what is owed me, as sometimes I forget to check back
